More Trouble for Brittany
LOS ANGELES, California (AP) — A restraining order against the man who’s been at Britney Spears’ side during her downward spiral alleges that he drugged her, took over her finances and controlled the ravenous paparazzi “like a general.”The order against Sam Lutfi was based on a lengthy declaration from Spears’ mother, Lynne, who says Spears met the 33-year-old in October 2007 and “essentially moved into Britney’s home and has purported to take control of her life, home and finances.” (Link)
Alcohol, drugs, marriage issues, mental issues, an intervention — what more can go wrong in her life? She used to be a very successful artist. Perhaps the fame and pressure got to her. This is the life of so many actors/singers, it is just a shame that her life has to be the front page of every newspaper.
While I think what she is going through is horrible — a lot of it is her own fault. I have little to no sympathy to people who use (or are addicted) to drugs. They make the decisions, no matter how strong the addiction. Every decision in life has some sort of consequence.
I do however think that what is going on in her life should stay between her and her family –not between her and the population of the world.
