Contaminated Chinese Products Recalled in France
The contaminated milk scandal continues to reach beyond China’s geographic borders. Now France has recalled products which contain Chinese milk:
“…The recall is the strongest measure yet taken by a European country amid a worldwide health scare over Chinese milk products that has led several countries to ban dairy imports from China.”

The chemical, melamine, exceeds accepted standards. These recalls are happening in October 2008. The first warnings of the contaminated milk products surfaced in December 2007. The news was filtered in China. The validity of the present reports concerning the extent of the contamination and its impact has been questioned. Valid reporting and censorship do not co-exist well.
