NASA Launches At Night
At 2:28am on March 11th NASA launched space shuttle Endeavour. Oddly, NASA decided to launch in the night sky — with low cloud coverage. This is very different from how NASA usually operates.
Usually NASA launches during the day — because it allows them a better view of the shuttle, in case anything breaks off during the launch. The night launch lit up the sky and was caught on camera. You can see the video here.
