General Motors Presents: The Car of the Future!
Ask a random person to describe the car of the future, and you’ll likely get a fanciful depiction of some swoopy-looking vehicle made from recycled oil tankers that gets 60,000 or 70,000 miles per gallon of liquid sunshine. It will carry 8 comfortably, because the average American family has two children, but since it can also fly, passengers will appreciate sitting next to an empty seat. The concept of the car of the future has been around for a very long time. Various companies have come out with models for this car. Oddly enough — no one has actually built a working “car of the future”; until now.
The General Motors car of the future does not sit eight, nor does it fly. However, the car of the future runs on a Hydrogen Cell. The benefits of the Hydrogen Cell is that it does not use gas (like the gas/electric hybrids), and does not product any pollutants.
The biggest problem is that there are only around twelve Hydrogen Fueling Stations in the United States. Before this car can be mass marketed — we need places to fill up our tanks.
