Newborn Child Found in Trunk of Mothers Car
One thing that always catches my eye is when a parent tries to kill one of their children. When a mother tries to kill their new born baby, it tells a lot about their character.
Police said Bess gave birth in Charlotte on Friday, then drove herself to a women’s health care facility in Gastonia. She was taken to a hospital where police say she told personnel she left the infant in a box at another hospital. A search turned up nothing.
Police later searched her car and found the baby in the trunk wrapped in a towel and placed in a book bag. An arrest warrant said Bess “left him there to asphyxiate.”

This is a horrible situation with one outcome: the child will make a full recovery. The woman who placed her child in the trunk of her car, instead of giving it up for adoption, is nothing but a coward. In all seriousness, I hope she is placed in prison for a very long time.
There are times when I think that there should be some sort of law that dictates who can have children. While this is something that will never happen — it could save a lot of children from assault, neglect and even death.
