The New Drug: Black Stone
A new drug is going around by the name of Black Stone. Like some of the illegal substances in the world, it is semi-synthetic. This means that it is made from a naturally occurring substance, however it is not completely natural. The drug is made from something that most people would avoid — unless of course, they did not know what the drug was made of.
Turns out this drug is made out of toad venom.
The product is sold under names including Piedra, Love Stone, Jamaican Stone, Black Stone and Chinese Rock at sex shops and neighborhood stores. It is banned by the Food and Drug Administration.

The FDA is now up and talking about this substance because someone apparently died after taking the ‘black stone’. The toad venom is still effective in the substance. Since this is something that is not made with a strict recipe, one can never be sure how much toad venom was put into the substance.
This just goes to show that you should not take something if you do not know exactly in it. More importantly, if something is illegal, it is probably illegal for a good reason.
