Flying the American Flag May Result in a Lawsuit
A nation is at war and a retired veteran is being asked to take down the American flag, from his front yard. If he does not remove the flag, this veteran and his family may face a lawsuit:
“…Watkins and his wife, Ria, received a final notice from the Sussex homeowners’ association in Clermont that they must remove the flag or face legal action.
The former retired U.S. Navy communications officer said he refuses to back down for the American flag.”

It is a sad day in the United States of America when someone can be threatened with a lawsuit for a show of patriotism. One would think that the Sussex homeowners’ association would welcome such displays. To the Sussex homeowners association… “shame on you!”
