How To Upgrade a Laptop Hard Drive
Besides upgrading the memory, a new hard drive may extend the usefulness of that trusty laptop. With the proper preparation, it may be a task that you might want to undertake yourself. Equipped with your laptop manual, at least one complete backup of your existing hard drive and some reading, it is possible to put additional storage and some speed into that laptop.

You may have your own method to clone the existing hard drive. Nevertheless, this is an excellent presentation to see what is involved and to assess whether you want to do this yourself. The most time consuming part of this procedure may be how long it takes to clone the existing hard drive. Remember, you may want to anticipate any possible disasters and have a complete backup available, in case the computer gremlins strike.
