The Phoenix Suns Do Not Go Quietly

Game Four in Phoenix was an elimination game. It was a must win game. The Phoenix Suns led the San Antonio Spurs 65 - 43 at the half. It ended at 105 - 86, with San Antonio never mounting a threat. The series returns to San Antonio for Game Five.

The game was decided in the first quarter when the Phoenix Suns opened an early lead. The box score, however, shows some oddities. Amare Stoudemire only had seven points and Steve Nash finished with just four assists. The scoring came from Steve Nash and the others of the starting five, with Leandro Barbosa contributing when he came into the game.

Can the Phoenix Suns overcome the three to one deficit? The basketball experts say “no”. No team has recovered from a three games to zero deficit. It would be historical if the Suns could win the series. The task for the Phoenix Suns is to try to win Game Five on Tuesday, April 29th in San Antonio. Then the series swings back to Phoenix… if there is a Game Six.
