A Social Network that Backs up Data?
Having a backup of photos and videos is something that almost every person dreams of having. The security of know that your photos will be safe if something happens to you computer is a definite pro. However, where do you store you files? Is the place secure, reliable and accessible?
As part of the new release, all users (even unpaid ones) will be given access to Multiply’s new media upload application that’s based on Adobe’s AIR platform (you’ll be able to use it on Windows, Mac, and Linux). The application will monitor designated folders on a user’s computer, and will automatically upload new photos and video in the background as soon as they’re added.

A new social network that is geared towards the adults, instead of the kids. The service sounds great, and for $20 dollars a year, having a backup of my media would be great. However, I wonder how secure the data would be. Would anyone be allowed to view it? Only my friends? Can I make it so no one can view it? I am tempted to use the service as a backup, and not as a social network.
Good concept, let’s see how it plays out,
