Alex Barton Humiliated at Kindergarten
Alex Barton is five years old. He is in kindergarten. He is in the process of learning what going to school means. For Alex Barton, school involves a teacher who will humiliate him deliberately in front of his kindergarten classmates:
“PORT ST. LUCIE — Melissa Barton said she is considering legal action after her son’s kindergarten teacher led his classmates to vote him out of class.
After each classmate was allowed to say what they didn’t like about Barton’s 5-year-old son, Alex, his Morningside Elementary teacher Wendy Portillo said they were going to take a vote, Barton said.”

Alex Barton must think that his friends at school are mean. He must think that his teacher is even meaner. Perhaps this teacher would like to stand before a gathering of parents and have these parents vote on her suitability to teach children.
