Google Takes a Big Client from Microsoft
It is a coup that somehow Microsoft will down-play. In Australia, Google has taken a very large client away from Microsoft:
“Google has snatched what is believed to be its biggest single client in the world - the NSW Department of Education - away from its rival Microsoft to claim up to 1.3 million new users of its free email product.”

Not only is this immediately rewarding for Google financially, it is an opportunity to develop future loyalties. If Google executes their product features properly and deliver the services efficiently, it is developing brand loyalty. The three year contract with the Department of Education is a marketing campaign.
