Gray Wolf No Longer Endangered or Endangered More Than Ever?

The Gray Wolf has been removed from the Endangered Species Act’s “threatened” list because of the amazing strides the animal has made since being re-introduced to the US Rockies in the 1990s from animals imported from Canada. These wolves range across three states and now number in the thousands.

This change in status also means the Wolf is now subject to the same archaic hunting laws that so bedeviled it before. The Wolf, friend or foe?
