Local University Does Its Part to Go Green

With the summer heating up (literally, might I add), it can be tough to get through the day without the air conditioning. With increased use of your air conditioning, you are not only raising your electricity bill — but you are adding more carbon dioxide into the environment. To try and cut carbon emissions the University of Arizona in Tucson is using a different way to generate cooler air.

Flight for Life

Rat Poison Restriction

Rat poison does more than kill rats — it can kill humans.  Various groups around the states have been urging the EPA to do something about the availability of rat poison.  The EPA has finally done just that.  Rat poison will be restricted in terms of who can buy it and how much they can buy.

Idol’s Judges Pre-Judge?

iPhone Photo Album

The Apple iPhone and iPod Touch have a photo album that allows users to carry around photos from their computer. Until now, it has been impossible to save photos from the web directly to the iPhone/iPod. Users would have to put the image on their computer and then transfer it to the iPhone/iPod.
